Chie, you know I'm different.
Name of Clan: Higan
Original Clan Location: Original a tribal clan that resided in the outskirting areas of the Land of Stone's Volcanic regions
Current Clan Location: Iwagakure
Bloodline Limit: Unless pre-approved, Higan can only possess one of the '*' marked abilities.
*Tetsumune: Tetsumune is the official name of the Bloodline trait of the Higan Clan that dates back to their blacksmithing days. The particular trait occurs within the actual blood and chakra of the Higan. When they infuse their blood and chakra into a source of metal through a forge, they imbue the metal with their own chakra. The result both reinforces the metal and binds it to the creator, allowing the user the ability to manipulate and alter the shape and state of the metal from liquid to solid freely. This is down through the use of a compounded blend of Earth and Lightning nature chakra that the user possesses. Through this, they are able to control and manipulate the metal through Doton and alter it's state through Raiton from liquid to solid. Using this, they are able to move and manipulate their metal from a distance as well as rapidly reconstruct it should it break. They can also change the shape of it into constructs, weapons, and armor.
Anima no Tetsu: Through a long ritual and processed seal, Higan are able to give their forged metal literal life and animation. While not truly living, metallic constructs can be given a literal chakra circulatory system that is then sealed into the construct to give the construct semi-sentiency. As well, the creator and the construct are bound to each other, allowing them to be linked with each other mentally. The Constructs are formed usually in the shape of animals and because of this, this ability can be further used to give the constructs physical aspects related to the animal, such as flight and heightened senses.
*Kouton: Within the Clan, Higan Children as sometimes born with both Raiton and Doton Chakra Natures, allowing them access to the ability to utilize Kouton, the combination of Doton and Raiton to form Metallic Chakra.
Enhanced Chakra and Endurance: The Higan constantly carry and forge their metal with their chakra and constantly use chakra to manipulate it. Over the time the Bloodline has developed, it's caused a resulting increase in the natural line of Higan generations to progress. In this progression, the levels of physical endurance and chakra reserves within the Higan have increased dramatically, causing them to have more chakra and endurance than the average shinobi.
Enhanced Physical strength and speed: As well, the constant carrying of their metal, sometimes in the tens of tons, has caused their bodies over the generations to adapt to this as well, creating postures and physical forms that are able to produce much greater bursts of energy and movement. This resulting increase causes the Higan to over the generations and through training, to progressively gain heightened strength and speed. This heightened strength and speed is only noticeable when they are not carrying their metal however. The result causes them to be able to move as fast as the above average to average shinobi while wearing their armor and carrying their forged metal.
Genjutsu Vulnerability: Due to their chakra being constantly out of their body controlling their metal, Members of the Higan Clan that utilize Tetsumune have a heightened vulnerability and susceptibility to enemy genjutsu.
Restricted Release: Due to their Bloodline traits requirements, over the generations more and more Higan have been born only being able to utilize the natural releases required for the Bloodline trait. As a result, all Higan are naturally born with Raiton Chakra Nature. Users of Kouton also possess Doton nature upon birth.
History: Formerly not even a clan or even a tribe but rather, just a family of highly skilled blacksmiths living in the volcanic region of what is now Iwagakure. In those times, they were a nomadic blacksmithing family that moved around the Land of Stone, creating weapons for the other clans. They were a family that prided themselves in their technique and their work. Often known for creating highly effecient weapons and elegant, beautiful statues of precious metals. As Time went by, the family grew larger and more diverse as they met and had children with various people. This process is what started the beginning of what would become the Higan Clan. The first step of this occurred during the 12th generation of the Higan Family where the development of ninjutsu began to act against bandits stealing their weaponry. The first development was only of learning normal ninjutsu, nothing relating to what would become the Higan Clan later on. However, this first step lead to experimentation within the clan, now creating weapons for Shinobi and utilizing new metals in their creation in order to improve effectiveness. This lead to more powerful clans gradually making demands and thefts of their personal weapons. This next step lead them to the next stage of the Higan Clan's development during the 30th generation of the family. Many clans that were stronger than the Higan had put considerable pressure upon them, making numerous works of weaponry for them so they could combat other clans and statues of their elder members. Members of the family were overworking and exhausting themselves, constantly forging more weapons to make for the demands and what was stolen. Working at a nearly never-ending pace, not allowing even the children breaks or a chance to catch their breath. They had to do this since they at the time, did not possess the power to deny the demands of the stronger clans. This lead however to the beginning of what is now the ritual process in which a Higan binds themselves to their forged metal. This process finally caused a reaction in the clan during the rise in Ninja villages. Their bloodlimit finally came forth during the First Ninja War.
The advent of Iwagakure rise lead them to join with them, proving very beneficial for them in the end as they no longer had to worry about constant theft. And now they currently reside in Iwagakure. Upon the creation of Iwagakure, The Higan Clan's abilities were taken well into account as well as their works and they were commissioned greatly to be the Village's main production of weapons and armor. They also were put to working on the advanced buildings within Iwagakure's mountainside base of operations, being the only individuals capable of supporting and securing buildings on such tricky ledges and slopes. Other constructs such as reinforced houses in the village and bridges across rivers and even across the ocean to other lands were built as well. This resulting commission came to cause the flourishing of the Higan Clan, making many of it's members wealthy. This wealth lead to the formation of the Nobility of the Higan. These were members that were either never shinobi or were retired, using their talents to instead of forge weaponry and combat the enemies of the village. But rather to build statues and monuments of precious metals and gems and to forge materials for the wealthy Lords of Tsuchi no Sato. This burst of wealth create a split in the clan however as with wealth, comes the greed to not share the wealth. This split forged the now current branches of the Higan Clan of the Nobility and the Peasants, branches named by the Noble branch of the Clan. This wealth amassed and collected within the generations, creating the Noble Branch of the Higan and their thoughts of superiority over their less well off cousins.
This branching within the Clan also lead to a political split within Iwagakure's foundation, with the two often feuding with each other and often times, trying to force their will on the other. This soon lead to infighting however, the working and Peasant Shinobi proved too powerful as they were combat oriented amongst the clan. This lead to the institution of a raising of children to be Shinobi that were also nobility, raising their children to be nothing more than tools to keep themselves safe and enforce their will on the lower clans. This turmoil over the last seven generations of the Clan has created a sense of tension within Iwagakure as more often than not, the way of Iwagakure often does not bend to their will, creating a tension between the fighting Branches and the political factions of Iwagakure. Recently however, this has lead to threats of the Nobility of the Higan clan leaving Iwagakure for another village. While this has been stated to not be allowed, several members of the Nobility have already left, creating rogue shinobi amongst the Higan Clan that has cast shame upon the Clan's entirety.

Disapproved.
Enhanced abilities should go out, since things don't really work that way. A newborn baby wouldn't have enhanced endurance/speed, nor would any human develop such adaptions in a short time like this. Blacksmiths are probably more powerful than normal humans, but speed isn't really working. If it was like this, Hyuuga Clan's people (which masters in only Taijutsu and Doujutsu) would be much stronger than the average person as well, excluding Hinata from this.
But I do adore your idea of a blacksmithing Clan. :3 I had a Kouton user myself back in the day. I'd like your character approved.
