Personality: Masami is a very cheerful girl who likes to hang out. Although she looks a bit more mature to her age, she has a childish touch which gives her a small advantage when coming against male opponents. She always thinks things through, as fast as she can to solve things more easily - but will still, even if it seems wrong, rush into battle with the simple two sayings: "It's more fun this way, no?" and "Yeah, so what. We'll all die one day anyway, just get over it!" She will often laugh with those two comments.
Masami adores humor. She loves to laugh things off and tell jokes, especially with the people she likes. She's determined to help the village in any way she can until her parents return home, wanting to improve herself and protect Konohagakure from any crisis. This is also why she's suited for the job of Jounin: her eager and passionate personality allows her to educate the Genin of the village, be they younger or older than her, to the same words she follows: if you can dream about it, you can make it come true. She would like it if everyone in the village had the strong love for the village just like she does. In battle, she's very careful and analyzes her enemy's tactics and movements - using anything she has to stop them. And with her large variety of Jutsu, she can do such a thing.

History: Chie Masami was born in Konohagakure, to Chie Goen and Chie Yoko. The two parents raised their child themselves, not giving her a sibling. They home-schooled her by themselves, teaching her things at the age of 4 kids will only begin learning at the age of 6. Masami's parents were proud of their offspring, seeing as she's much like a child prodigy - being a genius that can learn that fast anything they throw at her. Before hitting the age of 5, she already learned how to use Chakra properly.
Masami was raised with deep care and with lots of protection. Of course, her parents allowed her to go outside and play with the rest of the children around the village at her age, allowing her to develop normally but at the same time grow up being stronger than anyone would think. They already planned from the very start that their child would become a Ninja for Konohagakure, while the girl's dreams only told her that she wants to be a pirate. Complicated, but that's how life was in this family which risked everything so their little girl would grow up well.
The truth is, Chie's parents were incredibly poor and weren't such excellent Ninja themselves. They were raised in a different village, being Kusagakure refugees and only arriving at Konoha and setting there out of having no place else to go. Masami didn't get to understand her parents too early, because the day she became Chuunin - her 9th birthday, Goen and Yoko mysteriously disappeared. She was alone, but she was sure her parents will return one day. After all, it's not like it's the first time they leave her all alone like this.
But it didn't happen. Years passed, Masami grew being a Jounin at the age of 12, but her parents didn't come back. The Fire Daimyo took responsibility to tell the child her parents were sent off to a mission in a far away country, a far far away place that would take only half a year to get there, let alone complete the mission they were sent to fulfill. To make it up to do the adolescence, the Fire Daimyo decided to take the girl under his wing until she can understand the situation fully.
It didn't take long at all until Masami became completely dependable, being able to work alone without her parents' or the Daimyo's help. She grew up to be a regular 15 year old girl at the rank of Jounin though, being an incredible genius capable of the usage of 3 elements at the same time, oddly not matching each other too well. She lives alone, completing missions for the village in hopes that one day, her parents will return home.
